There are several other land grants that are not presently units of government of the State of New Mexico but that have active boards of trustees and are active in land grant issues. The seven listed below have come to the attention of the Council because they either have sent representatives to meetings of the Council, have sent representatives to the land grant workshops organized by the Council in 2011, or have attended meetings of the Legislative Interim Committee on Land Grants.
