The tabs under this section lead you to a variety of on-line resources on community land grants-mercedes. These include:
- Governance resources. Units of government have a number of important obligations under state law, ranging from open meetings act requirements to submitting budgets, conducting elections, and financial reporting. This tab reproduces the material found in the published Guidebook for land grants, including forms and links to other state agencies for information.
- Land grant support program. The Council recognizes the importance of providing small grants and technical support to community land grants to meet the obligations described above and to carry out their mission. This tab provides information on the Council’s support activities.
- In 2010-2011 the NM Land Grant Council contracted with the UNM Land Grant Studies Program to conduct historical research, secure documentation, and prepare maps of the historic boundaries of community land grants-mercedes.
